That's Marley, who is close to the bottom of the pecking order (just because he looks different I think). It's nice to see him feeling so important.

I think its cool that you have a brownish tan emu. As a bird owner I think they're interesting creatures. I didn't know they had crest feathers... seems like just 1 shaggy feather sticking up.

Yesterday morning there was a summer storm brewing but it ended up being a dry thunderstorm, so no relief from the heat (or the flies). After breakfast the goats were playing on the jungle gym and Koby did his usual poses. I love the threatening sky in the background.
