Here are some you might be interested in... I know the breeder (not the owner) of the buck and could help get papers if you wanted. These guys might be what you are looking for Big Grin https://spokane.craigslist.org/grd/4906045890.html.

Thanks much for your suggestion, although the link you provided is a dead link??? Do you have another?

Try it now: http://spokane.craigslist.org/grd/4906045890.html.

If that does't work, you can find them on Spokane Craigslist under Oberhasli and $100.

RE: Goat String Wanted - Marc - 03-17-2015

I'm excited to say that thanks to you all I now have my string of two Alpine and two Oberhasli ready to go goats. I got the second two as a "party of three" and I only need a total of 4. With the extra one now I have a ready to go Oberhasli 4 year old that weighs in the 150 range for sale to the right home only. His dimensions are awesome and the previous owners said he was their most loving. I haven't seen that yet but they have only been in my pasture now for two days and aren't themselves yet...My two are still asserting their dominance so everyone is a bit on edge. Here is the craigslist add. I'm charging what I paid which was $100, he's worth more. http://boise.craigslist.org/grd/4936342670.html

RE: Goat String Wanted - Saph - 03-17-2015

Congratulations on ALL your new goats, Marc!

I happened to look at that Craigslist ad before you deleted it. We got two of our goats from the same source, Edelweiss Acres. Donna & Steve are awesome folks. You can't go wrong with the Oberhasli breed--they are sturdy, mellow, dependable, & all-around excellent pack goats. In my opinion, they are the hardest working goats, especially for their medium size. When our Oberhasli (also from Edelweiss) hikes with us, he is totally in the "zone." A very serious little guy. Smile

Looking forward to seeing photos of your new boys, & hoping to see you on the trail this season!--Saph

You rock, Saph. Thanks for the info. I'm excited to see my new herd settle in and be comfy with one another so I can see the two new ones personalities. My Alpines (Otis and Eli) are still assuring the new Obers that they are the pasture "bad asses." I'm ready for that to be over. The new boys (Duke and Mooch) aren't themselves yet as they are ducking for cover.

Ober's have a differently shaped face. It creates a look that makes me think that they all need to be named after foreign movie stars. That one for instance could be this guy:
