Buckwheat, Spanky, and Hershey go Hiking - ReddingJohn - 08-17-2015
Hey All,
I took the "boys" on a hike a few months ago into the Trinity Mountain Wilderness. The hike was around 2 miles, mostly uphill to an alpine lake (Long Gulch). The boys did very well. Their max is around 30 pounds, not sure if I will ever be able to get them to carry more. They really enjoyed the new foods to try around camp, and seemed to settle in after the first hour. We had 3 horses that came along too.....the boys had no problems being around them at all. Hope to have many more hikes like this!!
