So am I correct the goats packed all but the 30lb. sack of meat? Yep, the only thing I carried were the antler's and my mother in law carried the last sack of meat so we could do it in 1 trip, I have a 4th goat that will be ready next season so I won't have too call in reinforcements(lol), I also have 2 bucklings on there way also, so I should be good for several years, did I mention I love goats! Matt RE: 2016 elk - Pack Goat Hunt - WNC Goater - 01-03-2017 Awesome! Would love to use my guys to pack out meat! Used llamas in Idaho to pack out a mulie. My buddy out there uses them for elk, in fact that trip was the inspiration for getting goats. Not many goat packers here in NC. |
