Climbing structures - Moorefieldc - 11-01-2024 Decided to start working on climbing stuff for my goats. The pallet structure is going to be attached to a table I have for the goats to climb on. RE: Climbing structures - Nanno - 11-01-2024 You're having a lot of fun building! That's quite the steep teeter-totter you've got going there. Drill more holes down your fulcrum and you'll be able to adjust the height. If it's too steep your goats may be afraid of it. Also, when it comes to using pallets, think about leg entrapments. It looks like those side pallets in your first photo could hang goats up by a leg if one slips through just as they're jumping off. I wish I could find pallets. No one around here wants to get rid of them so they cost more than I want to pay. We do get free electrical spools to make up for it though. I need to rebuild my spool tower next summer. Too many of our spools are rotten and are becoming hazardous. RE: Climbing structures - Moorefieldc - 11-01-2024 I'm going to fill in the spaces on the side pallets and add some smaller pieces on the seesaw for them to have grip RE: Climbing structures - Nanno - 11-02-2024 Nice! |
