Looking to add one or two good, bottle raised, horned wethers to my pack string. I lost my lead goat last year and his remaining two brothers (7 & 8) would like to pass on all they've learned over the years. I raised five brothers from two weeks old, then culled the string. I don't want a baby, but may be interested in anything from a yearling to a four or five year old. Decent conformation, demeanor and health from a clean herd is important, as is manners around dogs and people.
I live in NW Oregon, and my range is limited, but I may be willing to meet in the middle or make a detour on a planned summer trip to Colorado. My guys live on a few well fenced, forested acres with a small creek, dense grass and browse, and plenty of steep hills and logs to play on, with chickens, barn cats, and two Pyrenees/Anatolians to protect them - the old lead goat would have taken on a grizzly, though.
