LOL. Our bucks will often get scaly skin and hair lose during the runt. But thats because they are sex driven and not food driven and neglect themselves. Did have a bacterial skin thing go through the herd a few years ago that would be much closer to what you are seeing and that we cleared up by washing and disinfecting the problem areas.

No, the bucks have looked great all season except for their manhood. Thick, sleek, shiny coats and good weight. My boys are under a year old with mellow personalities so they aren't as girl-crazy as you'd think. They're smart--they don't let female attention distract them from a good meal.
