Girl and dog rescue mama and new baby goat

I saw an intriguing photo in the latest issue of "Goat Tracks Magazine". It is of a girl with a livestock guardian dog (looks just like our Pluto!), and the dog is wearing a human backpack with a baby goat's head sticking out of it. I had to look up the story behind that photo, and the story is even better than I imagined! The article is from two years ago, so I'm surprised I didn't come across it sooner. Enjoy!

Oh my. I cannot imagine anyone at the age of 11 that could have done what this girl did. Granted that goat had it's winter coat so it may look bigger than it was but that had to be an incredible load never mind the terrain and weather.
