Got off work early and thought Id hit the Yakima river for a few casts. Being 90 degrees and all. First cast this is what I pulled in
21 inches long. Between 6 and 7 lbs.
A few casts later lost one just a touch smaller. He jumped up and out of the water and spit my hook out
Amazing day fishing.

That is a small mouth bass. Wish my phone was better but I cant arm length away to fit the bigger fish.
Fish outta the Yakima are nasty tasting. But even if I had caught him elsewhere, I am catch and release and he woulda gone back into the water anyways
Granted, if it were a Steelhead or a salmon, it woulda ended up in my frig!
