Castration / Vaccine Question
#1
Getting ready to band 4-5 month old boys. They had C&D with Tetanus, 2 rounds. Last dose 2-3 months ago. I assume they have plenty of protection against Tetanus? I dislike sticking needles in my animals, especially if it's not necessary. I'm hoping to get some reassurance that we're good to go. Thanks and have a great day!

They should have plenty of protection from the vaccine. My concern would be the bands are large enough for a 4-5 month old kid.

Thanks for the comment, Taffy! I'll be using a California Bander, so no problem there.

Id go ahead and give a 3rd vaccine. Pretty common to do so even without castration. Its not going to hurt even if they dont need it. Costs almost nothing.
