They're sending a bunch of the fire fighters home today. It looks like it was arson and everyone and their dog is donating to the reward to catch this sick idiot. There was a third fire started a short distance from the Two Bulls fire but they got it stopped at 1/4 acre. Our archery club had a beautiful range in the area of the burn at one time. So sad to know it is now ashes.

You know, I'd do a bit more spamming of the Rendy on that pack goat email list. It hardly gets used anymore but it gets a lot of people that dont haunt the forum. And remember, the forum was disrupted a year ago, so lots of people may still be lost. Hum come to think about it we should spam this forum there too.

Ok, if I had any idea what you were talking about you bet! I am barely computer literate enough to email!

You have to have a yahoo groups account. Yahoo groups really screwed things up about a year ago. Its hard to navigate and stuff but for sure sign up for it. Its an email list service with some photo space and stuff like that. When you post it emails everyone. Most people have it set to collect the emails and send them as a blob in one email once per day.

I can send an email to the pack goat group and the pack goats group if you like. I can copy and paste what Charlene had written early about everything that is going on, or you can send me what you want on the groups. I know a lot of packers still dont have a clue what is going on with the Rendy. I personally like the yahoo groups better than forums. I hardly ever look at forums, I find it easier to check emails a few times a day.

It's fine with me for anyone to forward the info in any way they know how. Go for it!

I had a few questions about the Rendy site and funding the Rendy.
You mentioned mosquites. Are ticks an issue?
Is there cell reception?
How much money do we need to break even for the costs incurred for the Rendy?

Hey Everyone, is there expected to be used or new equipment for sale at the Rendy? I am going to buying 2 saddles packages, and am thinking about waiting to purchase to see whats offered at the Rendy. -- John

There is a pack saddle and panniers donated by NW Packgoats (THANK YOU!) plus some other things from them for the auction. The panniers are AWESOME! You will be bidding against me for those! If some one brings equipment for sale then, yes, there will be.

How is the weather up there? Here we are in the high 90's and triple degrees and the lows are low 80's. Would hate to pack for our weather and end up freezing up there, lol!
