Very cute "Fighting goats!" Good looking boys.

I will admit the LaMancha look took me a while to warm up to...at first we called them "snake heads". With 3 purebreds...we have obviously overcome the earless aversion. LOL EVERYONE ask what happened to their ears & if they froze off last winter. With 2 being this springs kids I can't believe they ask that. My main response is that we cut their ears because they are our fighting goats. Most say, "Hmmm...ok" and totally accept it.

A very few say..."Really?!?"

To which I respond, "Um...yeah...no."

To which they then slowly smile.

I like the breed so far and am committed to them. That said I am trying to create a very diverse pack herd.

• Saanen/Alpines (4-these are my main adult 5 yr old packers)

• LaMancha (3; 2 kids & one 3 yr old)

Now if I could add a couple of Kiko hybrid's genetics to the mix...
