I miss Montana. Used to go up to the cabin in Plains every year. But I really like having a short winter with almost no snow most years

300, What part of MT you going hunting? If you still had that cabin Dave I would be negotiating fees with you, I love that area but never make it down there during hunting season.

Ya some great hunting around plains most years. Though the last season my dad was there they didnt get anything. But I enjoy hunting here much better. Hard to beat they numbers and being able to see for miles Here is a pic of the last three years success. All taken opening day modern firearm.

Good job Dave. I know what you mean about being able to see. I like to go to a ranch in proctor which is about 60 miles north east of plains, the view is better and the deer are used to people traveling around the area.
