Copper deficiency?

We got the fecal results, numerous strongyloides a few cocci, we got a microscope to keep better tabs on the parasite loads. We had some heavy rains, hot days, and short pasture for a couple weeks. Perfect storm for parasites, and we suspect the buckling was copper deficient from birth. With him being weak, the herd wouldn't accept him, we think he finally succumbed to the stress of it all. That's our theory at least. Hoping to put better management practices in place for the future. Thanks so much for everyone's input.
