I'm glad they got the lion. Some goats up the road from me were killed by a lion a few years ago, and some others were killed by a bear. One of ours got killed by a coyote and another one almost killed. We ended up getting livestock guardian dogs and we haven't seen another predator come near here since.
We've got four does due between April and June, so we should have babies ready to go in July and August. All of our boys remain horned. If someone wants theirs disbudded they would need to send me a 1/2 down deposit within the first few days so I can get it done.
All our babies this year will be Alpine/Nubian crosses. They are out of pure Alpine does bred by pure Nubian bucks.
