Monticello is near Blanding. I drove through there a couple weeks ago to rescue my brother who blew up his car's engine in Kayente over the AZ border. As I towed him back, he mentioned that the name Blanding is keeping the town from growing and reaching the amazing tourism potential it has. I decided that I would write the city council and suggest that they change Blanding to (drum-roll) "Excitacool". Property values will double overnight!
