Dont feed grain. If you want to feed something in pellet form, do alfalfa pellets. Think of grain as candy vs alfalfa as a salad. Grain is only needed for milking does. To keep them occupied while you milk and as a slight boost over the hay they are being fed. Bucks and wethers never need grain. They will get infinity better nutrition from a high quality alfalfa.
