I happen to have a very biased opinion after 8 years. They are handsome, friendly, colors blend with nature so calming to wildlife...

HA!! Now that last bit made me laugh because here I am breeding the loudest, most colorful Hawaiian-shirted goats I possibly can. We're not into calming the wildlife--we want to make those critters think they're missing out on a block party! One thing's for sure... I'll never lose a goat because he blends into the countryside.  

I have to say though, if I were going to pick a solid-colored breed, Obers would be the one. Those bay coats are gorgeous.
