shinrin-yoku

I had never heard the term shinrin-yoku before reading an article in the paper about it in this morning's paper.  It's another reason we need to get out into the forest with our goats!  It is also called forest bathing.

After Googling it I found there are actual scientific studies which have shown its benefits.

Here is an article about it in the Mother Earth News:

Forest bathing is the best! It is the reason I hold September sacred in my heart. Well, that, the screaming Bulls and naps under trees!

I can totally relate. The other 11 months of the year are good for forest bathing but September is the best. The bugs are less also.

I will carry copies of this article while hiking naked to explain that I am merely forest bathing..... however, this is actually a dangerous practice with curious goats.
