Greetings from the Sierras

Just found the forum. Was in the Pack Goat Forum and all of a sudden, I was in the Goat Spot. Now, what was that all about??
Have 3 pack goats, Romeo, Buckwheat and Poncho. Finally, all of age now to carry my stuff into the Sierras after years of training and lots of day trips. Not to say that was not fun also.
When people ask how it is hiking, packing and camping with goats--I always say it is great, it is like a field trip with 2-3 yr. olds. Never a dull moment!

Welcome! I agree, always plenty of drama, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! Goats are so fun, it more than makes up for all the work involved.

Have you ever thought about using your goats to hunt snowcock and chukars in the Rubies? I don't think it has been done before with goats
