We are located in Provo Utah with two boys, saanen and lamancha. The lamancha we have had for 8 years since he was 2 weeks. The saanen we purchased 3 years ago when our lamancha's twin passed. We are wanting to expand the herd by two or three. Looking for either baby lamanchas, or packing adults, preferably lamanchas. Am willing to travel 6 to 8 hours each way for the right boys. Would also consider others, just let me know what you have. Thanks.

Hello,
I live north of you near Ben Lomond (North of Ogden)...I have three purebred LaManchas that I too am pretty happy with...they grow on you.
Since you are looking for some LaManchas I would check out
http://www.fireboltlamanchas.com/ & see if they have any left. I think these may be some of the finest LaManchas in Utah...
So fine in fact that I actually couldn't resist two of them this year. VigilGuy also got one. Tell them that Charlie & Ken sent you.
You can look at some of our threads here to see them and some pictures.
Oh & if you they are sold out, they are likely worth the wait if you have to have LaManchas. BTW, their current herd sire was 195lbs at 15 months IIRC.
Best of luck!
Ken
P.S. If you ever decide you need a Poly Dome to house your goats etc., I'm your man.
