Whoa, I wouldn't want to meet that goat on the trail! He would make a great guard goat.

Today I found out Bourbon's younger 1/2 brother, Banjo, is coming "home" on Thursday! Woohoo! He's a month younger than Bourbon. Yes, he's another "no ears."
I'll post photos after he arrives.

I've been checking my goats poop for worm eggs. My biggest producer has a overabundance of either liver flukes,or twisted stomach worms.
I counted 81 eggs in her tiny sample!! I also saw a couple thread-neck-nematodes.
Would Valbazen work good for them?

So I take it you got a microscope and are learning how to use it. Good for you! This will sure help you figure out what deworming medicines to use, how often, and whether they're working. That's a great first step to getting your herd healthy and productive!

Tried to stay cool! Yesterday was 106* which beat our record of 105*. The cold Columbia River is beginning to sound good!
