Im looking for a couple good packgoats to buy. Horned or not. Just looking for the standard list of features; obers, alpines, sannens, lamanchas, toggs. Bottle raised from birth, associated with children, cae/cl free, current on shots/wormings, etc. And the closer to Southern Idaho the better Shy

Also, there are a couple goats up north of Moscow that I would love to buy, but I would need to figure out how to get them the six hours down here... Anyone know of someone who is planning a trip from north Idaho to south Idaho any time soon?

Have a friend in Brownsville Oregon that has a couple for sale. He got a horse.
All I want for Christmas is a new hip.

Well, that is a little ways away, but it could be worth it for the right goats. Could you PM me with some contact info for your friend, or I can get you my contact info and they can get a hold of me. Thanks

igoat--the Oberhasli wether is still on Craigslist. If you do a search for "Pack Goat," it shows up on the Lewiston Craigslist, although the location says McCall. So that would be close to Southern Idaho. I hope this goat finds a home. I would take him, as I live in the McCall area, but we simply don't have room for another goat in the pen, or in our trailer.
I love Oberhaslis...one of our 4 pack goats is an Oberhasli & for his size, he is the strongest & most "professional" of the bunch.
Good luck with your search--Saph

Thank you all for your help, some of these look like great prospects. Does anyone know of someone who might be traveling from north idaho/eastern WA area to the Boise area that would have room for several goats?
