When you think of goatpacking and hiking with your goats what are some of your thoughts?
Forest trails, Panoramic views, Mountain meadows, Sweaty goats, ?????????

Packgoats allow us to harvest the meat we hunt. They will carry it many miles if we choose to hunt long distance. Without them we would notice getting older faster. They share the load and the fun of exploring many beautiful places. Packgoats are fun to share with people who think you are crazy.

Here in San Diego, nobody has ever heard of goat packing. Also, nobody near me has goats. So for me, hiking with the boys is a bit like a traveling petting zoo. I meet lots of people, and they all love love love the goaties!!
