Hello I'm todd jensen, i live in northern nevada. my friend and I just purchased 3 alpines. 5 months of age. We are both new to goats. So I'll be reading through the threads and asking questions.

Are 1st hike! Lamoille. creek crossing, snow, rocks, and hiking in the the dark! they did great.

Goats don't mind the elements of mother nature, even darkness, as long as they are with you. I have had my boys in most every weather we have in Idaho. During a pelting hail storm at 10,000 feet elevation I did detect the look of "are you kidding me" from my older goat, but on he never stopped. They have been chest deep in water and snow and climbing in over 90 degree heat. They never stop amazing me.

Those are some handsome goats for sure.
I have one that gets big eyes and gets all scared in the forest at night. Not a problem in the desert. Something about the trees and the monsters they hide at night.... |
